My name is Carley Spears, I have been teaching ballet and dance worship for 12 years with 20 years of ballet training. I began my ballet career taking classes at Word of Grace with Michelle Rozeboom then I moved to Alleluia Ballet with Marion Sauer and Mary Ellen Bryant. I then began my classical training at Adam’s Ballet Academy where I studied RAD (Royal Academy of Dance). During my time studying under Mary Adams, I started teaching a group of home schooled children in my bedroom, which then blossomed into a wonderful business! I love teaching children to dance, and more importantly how to worship Christ through their dancing. God has blessed me with a wonderful husband and six children, and it has made me all of the more motivated to bring the Glory back to Him in my teaching. God has given me the opportunity to help students blend together two things: their love for dance and their love for Him. I have recently stepped back from teaching and only step in as a sub, but my sisters have done an amazing job at keeping my vision going and they bless me through it!
My name is Madeline Schuller. I’ve been a ballet dancer for 18 years and have been teaching for 6 years. I was trained under Mary Moe Adams at Adams ballet academy. I love teaching students how to glorify our King through dance. I enjoy giving my students the opportunity to perform and feel confident about what they have learned. I teach ballet technique and various kinds of choreography. I have a passion for teaching and find such joy when I see my students understanding and improving on what I have just taught them. I encourage my students to dance for the King and use the gift of dance He has given them to glorify Him.
My name is Tobin Wilson, I began dancing at the age of 4 under the instruction of Stefanie Strohm. At age 7 I began training with The Royal Academy of Dance under Mary Moe Adams. I passed graded exams 2-8 with distinction and vocational exams intermediate foundation, intermediate, and advanced 1 with distinction and merit. I improved my studies by taking part in Ballet Magnificat’s Summer Dance Intensive, under the direction of Kathy Thibodeaux, in Jackson, Mississippi and The Royal Academy of Dance Summer workshop in Long Beach California. I took part in Ballet Arizona’s original Nutcracker, under the direction of Ib Anderson, as the following parts: Mouse, Angel, Party Girl, Mother Ginger’s Kid, and Clara. I also took part in Caroline Atkinson’s Nutcracker as the Columbine doll, Snowflake, Flower, and Spanish Chocolate. I enjoy all forms of dance including, ballet, lyrical, ballroom, Latin, modern, and jazz. I also perform with Circus Americana as a hoop artist. Being able to teach children how to dance well, perform on stage, and most importantly glorify Him through dance is something I feel privileged to do!
My name is Dorothy Anderson, I have been dancing since I was a toddler and started teaching alongside Carley a few years ago. I love seeing the little ones learn new things and their excitement when they discover they can do more than they thought!
